His career began early with a summer internship at the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce, sparking a lifelong interest in economic development and organizational efficiency.
Aigner's professional trajectory took shape through diverse roles, from working in the Volusia County Tax Department to honing brand development skills and learning Six Sigma methodologies with Marriott. His time as an office manager for McGee Perry, LLP, and a Quality Control Associate at Alexander Gallo Holdings further developed his expertise in management and quality assurance. These experiences laid the groundwork for his involvement in the non-profit sector as an outreach worker and program facilitator.
Relocating to Los Angeles, Aigner joined Recording, Radio, and Film Connection as a Social Media Manager, significantly boosting company engagement and enrollment. This role inspired him to establish Ellis Island Entertainment (now Icon City Entertainment), focusing on providing marketing services to small businesses and non-profits. His clientele has included notable names such as Direct TV and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In 2013, Aigner founded Icon City Entertainment, a venture named after his childhood friends and their musical group. Under his leadership, Icon City has produced campaigns and events for various non-profits, including the Chosen Family Project and the Los Angeles Community College District, alongside numerous entrepreneurs.
In 2017, his debut studio album "No Faux" was downloaded over 300,000 times and spawned gay pride anthems "Yass Lawt" and "Ode To Baldwin", a tribute to James Baldwin.
As Chief Project Manager at Icon City, Aigner combines his skills in public speaking, negotiation, leadership, marketing, and event production to guide the company's strategic initiatives. Icon City currently oversees operations at brick-and-mortar storefront Emerald and Sage in Palm Springs. Ellis also serves as the Director of Communication for the Black Chamber of Commerce.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Aigner cherishes time with his beloved dog Addy and visits family on the East Coast.
