Icon City Entertainment Launches West Coast Satellite of Hope Without Boundaries 5K in Support of the Black and Missing Foundation, Inc.

Updated: 7 days ago

Los Angeles, CA — Icon City Entertainment, in collaboration with Audacity Global, is proud to announce the West Coast Satellite activation of the Black and Missing Foundation’s annual Hope Without Boundaries 5K, taking place Saturday, May 31, 2025 in Los Angeles, California.

While the main 5K will be held in Washington, D.C., Icon City Entertainment is mobilizing a local movement on the West Coast to raise awareness, build community, and take action. The HWB5K is more than a race—it’s a rallying cry to uplift the voices of the missing and provide hope to families still searching for answers.

This year’s West Coast initiative will kick off with a community rally and prayer at Messiah Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church (8928 S. Figueroa Street), a location that sits in the heart of a community profoundly impacted by the Black missing persons crisis. The rally will begin at 9:00 AM and will include remarks from Dr. Nyree Berry (Audacity Global), Dr. Vincent Moore senior pastor at Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, and invited local elected officials and community leaders.

Following the rally, participants are encouraged to complete their 5K walk at their own pace—either virtually in their own neighborhoods or to join us in-person at the scenic Reuben Ingold Park in the Baldwin Hills area. Rather than organizing a large-scale public march, the walk will take a more flexible, content-driven approach—with a limited in-person footprint at Reuben Ingold Park focused on media influencers and invited guests. Participants will help raise awareness by distributing flyers featuring missing Black women and girls from the LA area, creating social media content, and sharing personal reflections to amplify visibility.

How to Participate:

  • 📍 Kickoff Rally: 9:00 AM at Messiah Full Gospel (8928 S. Figueroa St.)

Donations to BAMFI, supporting crucial services including:

• Financial assistance to impacted families

• Burial service support

• Outreach and education programs in communities of color

To date, BAMFI has helped close over 500 cases, reuniting loved ones or delivering long-awaited answers. But the work is far from done.

“We’re calling on our community to join us—whether by running, donating, or partnering with us to help produce and promote this local event,” said Robert Street, Vice President of Operations at Icon City Entertainment. “This is about bringing people together for a powerful cause and making a real impact.”

This is our chance to take steps—literally and figuratively—toward justice, awareness, and healing.

Let’s bring them home.
